Crowded Tube
It was Friday afternoon during the rush hour on the Circle Line. The train was packed with weary commuters when a pretty young lady turned to a man squashed against her.
"Will you please stop pushing your person into me!" she demanded.
"It's not my person, it's my pay packet." he replied.
"Then I've got news for you" retorted the woman. "You've had a rise since we left Charing Cross."
