Follow the Twitter Feed

Lately, I have been mostly microblogging via Twitter. It updates my blog (see the sidebar on the right), my Twitter followers (all two of them) and my Facebook status. Having changed job recently I have precious little free time to write full blog articles.

I’m thinking about directly adding my tweets to the blog as articles – it may make more sense that way as updates will be more regular. Happy to hear your thoughts.

  1. This is a general trend.
Looking forward to reading your tweets 😉

Have to agree with you Gerpow. It’s probably a good thing though, as when you don’t have anything to write but need to update your blog then squeezing out a couple of paragraphs means blog posts aren’t particularly memorable.

The question is, how best to link Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, blog and so on. Online self brand building has worked out well for some people, and opened some interesting doors for their professional careers.

    Cheers,

I can’t get the hang of all these, I’m on Facebook but don’t seem to be able to find any of my friends quickly. Trying to contact old Chilean friend who is tweeting so will have to try and get to grips. Think we will be able to join you for a few days in August – probably drive down slowly and have a few days then do the same in reverse.

  4. For small companies building a large twitter following can be quite important thats why i think twitter is drastically undervalued as a social network 🙂

Yep, totally agree that Twitter is a great tool, but social networks are only as valuable as the use made of them by their participants.
